Last Friday I was planning on having a nice night at home, when my roommate, Adam, convinced me that I had to go to this concert with him. Luckily, I rallied and went because it turned out to be amazing. The concept is to bring some of the best music from sister cities of Reykjavik, Iceland, and Seattle, WA, together to promote friendship between the two. Each set had someone from Iceland and someone from Washington. It was well done. Highlights were the Lay Low, playing with Jason Dodson of The Maldives; and Mugison, playing with The Long Winters’ John Roderick (Free Mp3s). Check out some of their music.
