Body Language: “You Can”
Were there really no bands named Body Language before this Brooklyn quartet? Seriously? Hard. To. Believe. But now that there is, of course it’s a electro-psychedelic soul group that makes grannies get off their rockers and boogie and waggle their hot cross buns. The group began as a collective dj for parties and gradually fell into drip dropping originals on their crowds. “You Can” from the Social Studies EP is an instant pleaser, with a slow burnin’ starter, and a pimp walkin’ finale. Everything is coming up roses for the group, with performances at the recent SXSW, and a brand new album worth of goods being recorded as we speak. For now though, download the Social Studies EP for free, here, and enjoy.
