To me, Tom Eddy sounds like Matt Costa mixed with Jeff Buckley. Strange combination, I know, but he has the fun songs similar to Mr. Costa, on the other hand he has the melancholy sound of Buckley, mixing in the hollow guitar. Based in Seattle, Eddy has done work with Beat Connection, who have also been posted about on TWJ. I am especially intrigued by the first two tracks “The Art of Escaping” and “Morning Harvest,” and how they illustrate both sides of his style.
