Franc Cinelli was born in Rome and raised in London, but he couldn’t sound more like a slice of American folk. The immediate vocal comparison is certainly Bob Dylan, with Cinelli’s throaty delivery and the way he hangs for one wonderful extra second at the end of each line. Cinelli was apparently raised on classic vinyl from his mother’s record collection, and it shows. He tells the story of the rugged everyman — the traveler drifting on the wind, watching the world lit up by kerosene fires and witnessed through the windows of moving trains — working to make those dreams he has a reality. Cinelli’s got songwriting talent.
He has released one album under the moniker Goodtimes Goodtimes, and is apparently preparing a new LP. Cinelli is releasing an acoustic video every couple of weeks, and you can check out the one for “Burn” below. Also, you can grab the song for free. Enjoy!

Check out this picture of the lyrics from “Burn” scrawled on a piece of paper. Kinda cool, huh?
