Now that I’ve become a dog owner, I know I’d never go back. All due respect to cats, but there’s no comparison. Dogs. Are. Awesome. Except for tiny ones. Those are hawk food. But no matter what kind you have, if you have a canine, you know just how much of a family member they can become. In the new video for Real Estate’s blissful “It’s Real”, one such animal (Labradoodle?) is heavily doted upon by the band, and all manners of it’s amazitude is documented in home movies. And then bowties enter the picture. The Weird Days directed video is inane in every sense, but with dogs and a great song, it’s an easy smile.
