It’s probably not the hippest thing to do: featuring a Jackson Browne tune that’s a little over two years old, but a great song is a great song, and even we bloggers can’t float in the dramatically popular all the time. I’ll keep it simple to save from embarrassing myself, Jackson Browne is ridiculously talented and quite good at growing beards. And anyone who can write songs that touch hearts after 45 years of performing and writing and recording, is worthy of your attention. “Here” was the credit roll song of a movie I watched recently. Give it a shot, and if you like it, dig into his Solo Acoustic, Volume 1, it’s a necessary record for decent human beings.
