Eliza And The Bear: “Trees”

0 Comments 05 December 2011

There’s  a whole lot of potential in this track from Essex natives Eliza And The Bear. And that’s saying plenty, because “Trees” is the band’s first-ever recording. The song has a lovely ebb and flow, beginning with gentle guitar strumming and building to a powerful conclusion full of pounded piano keys, crashing percussion and some awesome vocal work. The band is apparently working on an EP that will be released very soon, and it’s clear from listening to “Trees” that the Eliza And The Bear has the capability to flex some real power-chord muscle, but also make the subtler touches work. I’m excited to hear more from them, and you can listen to why below.
