La’Reda: Never Enough EP

0 Comments 20 December 2011

I’ve been to exactly one techno club.  It was three floors underground off some side-street in Chicago, and it was there I discovered just how nice people on drugs can be.  I was the driver that night, so I stood with my water on the rocks and witnessed the happiest group of people I’d ever seen.  Give them good music and seizure inducing lighting, and they don’t care who they dance with, they just want to DANCCCCCCE.  And Brion Topolski (smokey right) and Nathan Barbour (…smokey other) know this extremely well.  Seemingly organic, the beats they craft as La’Reda are prefect invitations for you to go find those dark clubs and sweat off half your body weight.  Good Progressive and Electronic music is NOT easy to make.  We all vastly underestimate just how much talent and inherent rhythm it takes for guys like Topolski and Barbour to do so (try this if you don’t believe me) .

And on January 15th, La’Reda is releasing a brand new EP entitled Never Enough on their website and Facebook.  It’s a six track tour through the club door into massive stadiums of lights and throb throbs.  I typically have to be in a very special mood before I’ll go and seek out Techo/Rave/Progressive music.  They are massive genres to explore.  But La’Reda’s music grabbed me right away.

We have permission to offer you three of the six tracks off the unreleased Never Enough EP, so prepare to encounter some expertly bulbous bass drops and syrupy synth (are those the right words?).  Fare thee well on your upcoming journey through the electronic cosmos.
