I won’t claim to understand this video; I doubt anyone knows “The Fox’s” intent other than the video’s director WINTR. But the cinematographic-al version of Niki & The Dove’s new single grabs you all the same, instantly bringing multiple Star Fox references to (my boyish) mind and dipping you into scenes of free-falling fiery meteors amongst starlit backdrops. (Do a barrel roll!)
Ambiguously masked and ever soaring, the entity flies along mountain ranges and deep forests of all hours. It’s amazing what special effects and graphic design can do these days (says the old man). I’ll go ahead and aspire to have dreams like this.
