Here’s our chance to call attention to Shenandoah Davis again.  For those who haven’t had the pleasure yet, her music falls in the same quirky and adorable vein as Joanna Newsom, but with more song structure and quite a bit more awareness of you, the listener.  With a wide variety of instruments and song styles, Davis’s most recent album, The Company We Keep, has some eerie carousel moments (“Separate Houses”), along with some genuinely cool songs that seem to jump out of a leaf strewn pond;  (“Duet”, “Sewn Up Tight”, “Anywhere”) pleasant ripples and reflections of nature, if you will.
